Valentine's day is coming, and, like every year, I'm always stumped on what I should gift my boyfriend. For this year, I decided to be more traditional and gift my boyfriend a teddy bear, but the thing is, I made it myself using my own pattern that I'm here to share with you!
I recently bought some Bernat Sheepy yarn for clearance at my local Michael's and thought this would be the perfect yarn for this project. The yarn makes stitches almost completely invisible, which helped my teddy bear resemble a traditional, fluffy teddy bear even more ;)
But this also makes crocheting with this yarn more difficult. Because it's difficult to properly see your stitches, it may be a big challenge to work with. My tip is to ~feel~ for the stitches with your fingers; this helped me keep track of the next stitch and where to insert my hook.
If working with fluffy yarn is too difficult, feel free to use a different super bulky (size 6) yarn like Bernat Blanket yarn! You'll be able to see your stitches better with Bernat Blanket yarn.
